The exhibit with Jeffry Mitchell was inspired by our work together on the book, What is the Panda to You? in 2006. MAM’s curator, Steve Gleuckert, gave us the opportunity to show our individual work and to create some collaborative pieces. During installation we chose to intersperse Jeffry’s ceramics and works on paper with my enamel pieces. The show was installed the week of the November election as the economic news turned from bad to worse. Missoula was ready for some Shiny Happy Pretty, and gave us a warm reception.
